A Predictive Model-Based Decision Support System for Diabetes Patient Empowerment

The main objective of POWER2DM is to develop and validate a personalized self-management support system (SMSS) for T1 T2 diabetes patients that combines integrates i) decision (DSS) based on leading European predictive models interlinked with computer models, ii) automated e-coaching functionalities Behavioral Change Theories, iii) real-time Personal Data processing interpretation. SMSS offers guided workflow treatment goals activities where periodic review evaluates the progress provides detailed feedback how improve towards healthier, appropriate lifestyle.
